A Sober Second Look at the Notwithstanding Clause – in conversation with Senator Peter Harder

The Harvard Club’s Dr. Sheema Khan will engage Senator Peter Harder in a fireside chat to discuss the history and purpose of the notwithstanding clause, along with Senator Harder’s proposed bill to put guardrails on federal use of the clause.

Please arrive at 5:00pm to clear security. The discussion will last from 5:30 – 7:00pm. Refreshments and a networking session will follow from 7 – 8pm.
