Fifty years since the Royal Commission on the Status of Women

The Harvard Club of Ottawa would like to invite you to the following event.

 

On Monday, March 8th, International Women’s Day, we will be honoured to have as our guest panelists, Maureen O’Neil and the Honourable Monique Begin, on the topic “Fifty years since the Royal Commission on the Status of Women: How it worked and why it mattered”.  Both women played an instrumental role in the historic commission. This will be a wonderful opportunity to reflect on what the Commission did, how far we’ve come since its report, and how far there is yet to go.
